What does it mean?:
To gear up for something that's going to be bigger than normal.
How did it come to be used this way?:
In mountain man lore folks might say "the way he's loaded down he's not just going squirrel hunting, he's loaded for bear" i.e. heavier caliber rifle, bigger pack with more supplies to dress it out etc.

How is it used?:
This is a minor insult used to make people more angry at you than they are already. Also, it can be used in an expression showing defiance to a person or against doing something. Best results are when you say it right in someone's face. It is pronounced Ah as in what the dentist tells you to say before he puts the toothbrush thingy in your mouth and then a loud raspberry at the person. This can be a long or a short one. For instance: Someone tries to get you to move or to give up your place in line. You don't want to? Just say this then. "Ah thbtttttttttttttt." Laughing or smiling ruins the effect.
What does it mean?:
It doesn't mean anything, just an expression of defiance or of insult.
How did it come to be used this way?:
Eye of the Tiger of Dancing Dog Productions said it once to someone in the movie "Kazoo of Time" shen she did not want to move. It has been used ever since.

Excuse Me, Princess!

How is it used?:
To be said in a VERY sarcastic manner with someone, being sure to draw out the "excuse" part. This is to be said if you offend someone, and you can replace "princess" with anyone's name. Best results if you cross your arms and roll your eyes at the person who you offended. For instance, if you were to slip in the school cafeteria and spill all your food on someone, and they get mad at you, you would stand up, brush yourself off, and say "Excuuuuse me, *person's name* "

Exactly what it says. It is used as a retort to being insulted.
How did it come to be used this way?:
In the late 80's in the USA, Dic created a cartoon series based on one of Nintendo's most popular game series, "The Legend of Zelda." Opposite of how he was portrayed in the later games, Link, the main character, was portrayed as a whiny teenager who would often say to Princess Zelda, "Excuuuuuse me, princess!" because she insulted him often. Today, anyone who has seen the show will often use Link's infamous line as a joke with friends.

How is it used?:
Pronounced "Door-on" As an insult, usually in a mildly offensive way, unless shouted. Then it could be taken as badly as calling a guy a lady. Usually, it is said as "You doron!" or "You're such a doron." Best shouted at random passersby who don't know what it means, or at a ridiculously stupid lab partner in science class who would blow the building up if left unattended. It is also used as an insult to shout at the characters on TV while playing Brawl if your character is being especially stupid and getting killed too easily.

A mixture of the words "dork" and "moron" created by GermanShepherd20 from Dancing Dog Productions.
Trivia/fun facts:
The word "doron" came into existence because GermanShepherd20 accidentally said two words, dork and moron, at the same time, as she was yelling at a slow driver. It has been used as an insult ever since.

How is it used?:
Posh is a term describing luxurious surroundings, normally in reference to a home or room.
What does it mean?:
Stylish, upscale, exclusive, associated with the upper classes.
How did it come to be used this way?:
Wrongly associated with the phrase Port Out Starboard Home (popularized in a song for the film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang). While the etymology is uncertain the most probable is the Romany "posh" that stands for "half" as in "half a crown" which a sizeable sum of money at the time. How is it used?:
Booper is what one calls active collectors/re-creators of Betty Boop.
What does it mean?:
BOOPER:One who makes graphics of, collects figurines and memoribilia, and loves all things Betty Boop, the 1930s queen of cartoons.
How did it come to be used this way?:
Betty Boop was ahead of her time. In the 1930s cartoons developed by The Fleischer Bros., Betty was first a cartoon female dog who had a boyfriend dog named Bimbo. As the character grew in popularity, she became a real girl and her ears changed to hoop earrings. She had other friends and their antics were very entertaining, sometimes risque by the standards of the era. Betty's clothing was always leg and cleavage revealing and her attitude was that of the 21st century women's. Her popularity is international.
