How is it used?:
This beer is skunked.
What does it mean?:
Skunked is a synonym of Lightstruck, which is the spoiling of beer due to exposure to light. When exposed to ultraviolet light from sunlight, compounds in beer break down into Thiols, similar chemicals to those found in a skunk's spray.
Trivia/fun facts:
This is the reason most beer bottles are made from dark glass, and that beer should be stored in a dark place.
