Excuse Me, Princess!

How is it used?:
To be said in a VERY sarcastic manner with someone, being sure to draw out the "excuse" part. This is to be said if you offend someone, and you can replace "princess" with anyone's name. Best results if you cross your arms and roll your eyes at the person who you offended. For instance, if you were to slip in the school cafeteria and spill all your food on someone, and they get mad at you, you would stand up, brush yourself off, and say "Excuuuuse me, *person's name* "
What does it mean?:
Exactly what it says. It is used as a retort to being insulted.
How did it come to be used this way?:
In the late 80's in the USA, Dic created a cartoon series based on one of Nintendo's most popular game series, "The Legend of Zelda." Opposite of how he was portrayed in the later games, Link, the main character, was portrayed as a whiny teenager who would often say to Princess Zelda, "Excuuuuuse me, princess!" because she insulted him often. Today, anyone who has seen the show will often use Link's infamous line as a joke with friends.
