1. An ornament or design, as those used in Arabian or Moorish architecture, employing patterns of intertwined scrollwork, conventionalized leaves or flowers, etc., painted or sculptured in low relief.
2. In ballet, a position in which the dancer extends one leg straight backward, one arm forward, and the other arm backward.
3. Music A short, lively composition in rondo form.
