(kən·den′sər) noun
1. One who or that which condenses.
2. Any device for reducing a vapor to liquid by removing from the vapor its heat of evaporation, as in a steam-power plant.
3. Electr. An arrangement of insulated conductors and dielectrics for the accumulation of an electric charge: used to block the flow of a direct current and to modify the capacity of an electric circuit.
4. Optics A combination of lenses for the effective condensation of light rays.
