You seem to have totally missed \\\"congreve cube\\\", from \\\"Mr. Magorium\\\'s Wonder Emporium\\\", 2008 movie. The nearest I can make out is the similarity of the SOUND of \\\'congreve\\\' to \\\'concave\\\'. Somehow the MAGIC of the cube in question is contained in its being \\\'congreve\\\'. Beats me, but, like Magorium and Molly, I\\\'ll play with it.
