1. Having equality in dimensions or measurements.
2. Pertaining to that system of crystallization in which the three axes are equal in length and at right angles to each other.

4. Based upon the forceful contraction of muscles against immovable resistance without shortening muscle fibers, a means of strengthening muscles: isometric exercises.
