1. A river of north central Argentina, flowing 1,250 miles SE from the Andes to the Paraná: also Salado del Nor·te (thel nôr′tā).
2. A river of central Argentina, flowing 750 miles south from the Andes to the salt marshes near the Colorado: in its upper courses known as the Des·a·gua·de·ro (des′ä·gwä·thā′rō).
3. A river in Buenos Aires province, eastern Argentina, flowing 400 miles SE from the border of Santa Fe province to the Río de la Plata.
