What does having a cross to bear mean?
Hi there, I’m a little baffled at something that was said to me when Icommented on how wonderful I think St Jude has been to me since I began praying daily…This person said something about “having a cross to bear” What exactly does she mean in reference to the fact I pray to ST Jude. He is a WONDERFUL SAINT in my eyes and has NEVER failed me in any way…. Kat
It’s a religious expression, where everyone has troubles, has a “cross to bear”. Like Jesus. And the idea is that faith will help you carry your cross, right? So faith will ease your burdens.
