(chā′sər) noun
1. One who chases or pursues; a hunter.
2. A steeplechaser.
3. A pursuing or following airplane or vessel.
4. A gun at the bow or stern of such a vessel for use in pursuit of or by another vessel: a bow chaser and a stern chaser.
