Definition of: mixed

1. Mingled in a body or mass; joined together; associated; blended: generally of different or even incongruous elements: a mixed metaphor.
2. Containing persons of both sexes: a mixed school, mixed foursome, etc.
3. Mentally confused, as with liquor.
4. Law Designating statutes which concern both persons and property; also, designating property which is not altogether real nor personal, but a compound of both.
